Trying 2021 Nail Art Trends

I can truly never have long nails because of my lifestyle. I'm not a biter, but my hobbies require significant manual labor and if my nails get even "short nail" long, they inevitably break. But I have found a way to wear cute super short nails: Holo Taco Solar Unicorn topper. I wear it by itself. It's noticeable enough to be fun on its own and because it's sheer, when I inevitably fuck up my nails, it still looks decent. (Trend alert???) Sadly, one morning about a month ago, my bottle plummeted from my stupid medicine cabinet which is literally right over the toilet, INTO THE TOILET, and SHATTERED INSIDE THE TOILET. I had to reach my hand into the bowl and scoop out the broken bottle and holo goo because I didn't want any sewer alligators to get cut on the glass :( But today I finally got around to re-ordering my favorite topper/polish. Soon I will be able to be my most glamorous half-assed messy self again. Thank goodness.

Cristine isn't as fun to watch ever since she began her brand. I love her, and I support her, but her content isn't as entertaining when it seems like I'm watching one big advertisement for holo taco. I get why she does it, she needs to get her brand out there, it just isn't fun.

Use to do my nails using 5 colours. One hand would be painted 1,2,3,4,5 and the other would be 3,5,1,4,2 or some other randome order 😂

I've been using stick on nails because my natural nails have always been too weak to actually grow beyond .1 inch so no I can't grow them and paint them no matter how much on lockdown I am. Also, even if I put nail hardener to try and make them grow, my nails literally fold inwards and any cover (nail polish, gel, vitamin base, hardener) starts to chip IN THE MIDDLE OF MY NAIL. Not at the tip, not at the cuticle. IT LITTERALLY BRAKES FROM MY NAIL JUST BENDING. Frustrating. So yeah stick on are such a go to for me :_)
You should try drawing a taco on your nails only using holo taco colors :)

I LOVE having long, natural nails. I feel useless with short nails. And I also aspire to grow my nail polish collection to the level that Cristine currently has. However, last year I was able to start my dream job as a scientist in a lab. That being said, I have to wear nitrile gloves for 8+ hours. I always had my nails painted, but wearing gloves for such a long time chipped and peeled my nails quickly. Because of the gloves as well, my hands sweat, and it puts my nails in a constant state of duck nails. My nails became really soft and either broke or peeled. I've kept my nails and hands moisturized and have tried several layers of polish and top coats, but it still doesn't last. It's a sad time because I don't want to have boring nails. 💅🥺

I love to keep my nails long, but I have to keep it short and clean cuz I work with food, so when I’m not at the kitchen y use press on nails... wish I could do some nail art on my beautiful long nails again 😭😭😭

I love holo taco, but it’s honestly refreshing to see some polishes outside of the brand. I tend to get kinda burned out on those colors and since it’s fairly new she has to use the same colors over and over because there aren’t many yet, this video was the perfect mix of both!
